Dr. Amy Clara is a licensed clinical health psychologist at Massachusetts General Hospital's Cancer Center and an adjunct associate professor of genetic counseling at the MGH Institute of Health Professions. Since 2018, she has been offering community, trainee, and peer-facing guest lectures on mental health topics related to diabetes, peripartum health, behavioral medicine, cardiovascular care, and oncology. She started as an instructor at MGH IHP in Fall 2021 teaching advanced counseling techniques to genetic counseling students and strives to continue adding to the MGH IHP community through education, community support, and offering professional development and guidance to interested students and trainees. She is currently working on a multidisciplinary collaborative care group in the MGH Cancer Center as well as developing a therapeutic group for sexual wellness during cancer care.
