Conflict is inevitable and a part of life. This self-paced module is a practical application of conflict management literature and theory for participants who want to better understand and navigate conflict.

Course Overview

Participants will identify a conflict, consider the type of conflict present (personal, task, process) and then take a journey in diagnosing their own conflict management style. Additionally, participants will consider potential symptoms including perceptions, internal dialogue, and emotions. Once symptoms and diagnosis are addressed, participants will identify viable conflict management options including avoiding, accommodating, competing, compromising, and collaborating.
