To better support student success and create even more opportunities for collaboration, the MGH Institute of Health Professions has realigned several graduate programs from the School of Healthcare Leadership within a new academic home, effectively closing the School of Healthcare Leadership.

The Master of Health Administration and Master of Science in Healthcare Data Analytics programs are now part of the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences (SHRS), within the newly established Department of Health Sciences. In addition, the Department of Health Professions Education has joined SHRS.

This transition strengthens the Institute’s interprofessional learning environment, streamlines resources, and opens the door to innovative teaching, research, and service opportunities. Students will benefit from a richer academic community, closer connections across disciplines, and an environment designed to prepare them for leadership in today’s complex healthcare landscape.
