Physical Therapy Senior Program Manager Sheila Regan has been awarded a $500 Upsilon Phi Delta Scholarship from the Association of University Programs in Health Administration to help with her studies in the Master of Health Administration program, which is in the School of Healthcare Leadership.
“This honor reflects Sheila’s outstanding academic performance and unwavering commitment to the MHA department Program,” said Dr. Latoya Trowers-Bell, Health Administration Program Director. “Sheila's dedication to her studies and her contributions to the program have distinguished her as a deserving candidate for this award, and we are excited to support her continued success.”
Regan says she’ll put the money toward books and fees during the second year of the program.
“I was thrilled to learn about this and I am grateful for this scholarship,” said Regan. “I also want to acknowledge the support of the PT Department and the IHP community for cultivating a culture that supports the growth and development of their employees.”
The goal of the Upsilon Phi Delta Honor Society is to encourage interest in academic preparation, promote activity that will elevate the standards, ideals, competence, and ethics of inductees, and recognize academic achievement and outstanding contributions to the profession. The UPD Scholarship Program was established in 2014 to further the goals and mission of the honor society and recognize students for academic excellence.
