PhD '22 Alumni

Victoria conducted her doctoral research in the Cognitive Neuroscience Group under the research mentorship of Dr. Sofia Vallila Rohter, and under the academic mentorship of Dr. Marjorie Nicholas. She also served as a co-chair for the Students for Racial Justice in Healthcare (SRJH) student group at the IHP.

Prior to entering the doctoral program, Victoria worked as a Speech-Language Pathologist in acute care, acute rehabilitation, and outpatient settings for the University of Maryland Shore Regional Medical Center at Easton from 2014-2017 and at the Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center from 2017-2018. From Sept 2022-June 2024 she was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, Department of Neurology. In April 2024 she received the following award: Protégé, Lessons for Success Conference, American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
