About
Cathy Leslie, PhD, OTR/L, MOT, CEIS, is an Assistant Professor of Occupational Therapy in the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences at the MGH Institute of Health Professions. Dr. Leslie’s clinical background is in pediatrics in the early intervention setting, and she teaches courses focused on pediatrics, health communication, and research.
Dr. Leslie received her Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies and Master of Occupational Therapy from Bay Path University in Longmeadow, MA. She received her PhD in Rehabilitation Science at the MGH Institute of Health Professions.
Dr. Leslie is the author of multiple peer-reviewed manuscripts and book chapters, and a state and nationally-recognized speaker. Dr. Leslie is currently the principal investigator on a foundation grant-funded community-academic partnership project focused on providing needed occupational and speech-language therapy services to underserved toddlers and preschool children in Charlestown. She has two wonderful daughters and lives on a sailboat in Boston harbor with her husband.
