About

Bridget Perry, PhD, CCC-SLP, is an assistant professor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders and is the program director of the Clinical Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology program. She is also a practicing Speech Language Pathologist at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.

Bridget directs the Swallowing & Communication Collaborative, a lab at the IHP centered around improving patient-centered management of swallowing and speech impairments for patients living with serious illnesses.  

Dr. Perry completed her Ph.D. in Rehabilitation Sciences from MGH IHP in 2018. Upon completion of a post-doctoral research fellowship at Tufts Medical Center, Dr. Perry returned to MGH IHP to help launch the SLPD program.

Research Interests

Her research interests include the evaluation and treatment of neurologically based speech and swallowing impairments and evidence-based, patient-centered decision-making surrounding feeding management in persons with dysphagia.
