You can keep up with her work on Instagram @dr.kwashington.
She has a passion for treating patients with pelvic floor concerns and her fire is ignited most when she gets to teach a mom that peeing their pants doesn’t have to be the norm! Her interest in this specialty peaked after an introduction to Black Maternal Mortality rates and how pelvic floor physical therapy can help this crisis. She hopes to blend her passion for improving the peri-partum experience, particularly for black mamas, with her training and she strives to intersect mindfulness, community responsibility, and diversity, equity, and inclusion principles into her care. On a more personal note, she enjoys traveling and spending time with the locals, food experiences, dancing, listening to and performing spoken word, hiking, reading, and spending time with her family and friends. She’s also a sucker for thrifting and a big pair of handmade earrings.
