Addressing the Lack of Intraprofessional Collaboration: The Role of Occupational Therapy Assistants
Tell us about your Innovation Project.
I used the social media platform Instagram and a website to educate occupational therapy practitioners on the role of occupational therapy assistants in practice in order to increase intraprofessional collaboration within the field of occupational therapy.
What do you think is special about the Post-Professional OTD program here at the MGH Institute?
The support system throughout the whole program and after you graduate is by far the best aspect of this program. The community supports you professionally, personally and academically. You truly become a family.
What are your goals for the future after you graduate?
After I graduate, I plan to continue working as a school-based therapist. I would like to explore other entrepreneurial opportunities in the future or maybe even teach a course of two.
