Dear staff and faculty,
Exceptional. Collaborative. Caring. Committed. Passionate. Supportive.
These are just a few words that describe the staff and faculty at the MGH Institute, and some of the many reasons why our staff and faculty make the IHP an exceptional place to learn and work.
Today, March 1, is National Employee Appreciation Day, and I’d like to share my gratitude for how you infuse these qualities into our campus community every single day. Each of you plays a vital role in fulfilling our shared mission of educating health professionals to advance healthcare and outcomes for society and advancing our strategic goals.
There are incredible headwinds in higher education, and you rise to the challenge every day to meet them. Your steadfast commitment to excellence in teaching, research, and service is remarkable. I would also like to acknowledge and recognize the countless meaningful contributions each of you make beyond your day-to-day roles by serving as mentors, advisors, and role models for our students and colleagues. Your efforts and care make a tremendous difference in countless lives.
On Thursday, June 13, we will have our annual Employee Appreciation Day celebration. HR will share more details on this in the coming months. I look forward to gathering and celebrating with each of you!
Thank you for the excellence that you bring to our community and campus, not only on this first Friday in March, but throughout the entire year. I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to lead and work alongside you!
Sincerely,
Paula
