Dear IHP Faculty, Staff and Students,
We recognize that the results of Tuesday’s elections may be stressful for some in our community. As yesterday’s Vitals message from MGB reminds us, we have a commitment to our mission, and for us it is to educate our students, develop the science of our discipline, and support the community in which we work and practice. Our core values encourage us to create an inclusive and welcoming environment for all members of the IHP community. We may not all agree on the election results, but we will continue to exemplify the ideals that are foundational to the IHP.
I encourage each of us to explore the election resources that the JEDI Office has curated for us as a source of information and support for members of our community. For students, please don’t hesitate to reach out to your faculty or the Office of Student and Alumni Services if you are in need of additional services beyond those that are included in the Padlet. Faculty and staff should contact the Employee Assistance Program if you need additional support.
