Members of the IHI Open School hosted their second annual “What Matters To You" Day on June 6. The aim of this event is to empower future health care providers to initiate meaningful dialogue between providers and clients to shift the conversation from ‘what is the matter with you’ to ‘what matters to you.’
Students, staff, and faculty from around IHP’s campus took photos with signs stating what matters to them in relation to health and health care. Photos were shared via social media and news of our event spread as far as Scotland to the creators of “What Matters to You Day” at the National Health Service.
