The Tedy’s Team Center for Community Outreach highlighted the role of physical activity in stroke prevention during an event with East End House in Cambridge on Monday. Twenty Cambridge residents answered a physical activity questionnaire to help assess their current activity levels, filled out a goal-setting worksheet for individualized planning, and took part in a group exercise class incorporating chair-based movements so all attendees could participate.

“We loved teaming up with the East End House to share valuable health information and spread stroke awareness with their members,” said Gwendolyn Larsen, education/community outreach coordinator of the Tedy’s Team Center.
