School of Nursing faculty presented findings and updates on their latest research projects during the school’s 4th annual Celebration of Faculty Scholarship on June 2. 

In his introduction, Dr. Ken White, Dean of the School of Nursing emphasized the importance of faculty scholarly work, calling it “the lifeblood of an academic institution.” 

Ruth Palan Lopez, Associate Dean for Research at the School of Nursing, also announced the school’s 2022 Faculty Seed Grant recipients. Dr. Eleonor Pusey-Reid received a grant for her project, “Assessing the number and categories of human skin tones in major clinical textbooks” and Dr. Kathryn Sabo received a grant for her project, “Caregiver Self-Care Survey for Healthcare Provider.”

“Congratulations to everyone,” said Palan Lopez, “and a special acknowledgement to all the work you all have put in.”
