It was an impressive showing for the MGH Institute at the 38th Annual Scientific Sessions of the Eastern Nursing Research Society, held last Thursday and Friday at the Encore Boston.
Four graduating Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) students joined nearly two dozen faculty members in presenting a total of seven papers and seven posters during the conference, titled, “Strength in Nursing Science: Advancing Health Across Dynamic and Diverse Settings.”
Eastern Nursing Research Society (ENRS) is often the first venue at which new nursing scholars present their work and is known for being a student-friendly conference. The MGH Institute’s Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program has had student representation at ENRS for nearly a decade.
The focus of ENRS is on the dissemination of nursing research through the annual conference and the journal, Nursing Research.
"Dissemination is at the heart of scholarship and the faculty are so proud of our DNP students for taking this step," said Associate Professor Alex Hoyt, who teaches in the DNP program.
