As part of the Masters advanced practice nursing program, all students complete a scholarly project in which they assist in a research study, participate in a quality improvement initiative, or generate an original project or scholarly paper of some kind. Students were invited to present their work as part of the annual Celebration of Nursing Student Scholarship, which was held in person this year for the first time since before the COVID-19 pandemic. Students who were nominated for the prestigious Herzlinger Prize – which was awarded to Sarah E. Ziobro, RN - were featured presenters at the event.
