The School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences welcomed students, faculty, and staff for a “Spring into the Arts” concert, an event that brought music, visual art, and reflection together in celebration of the humanities in healthcare.
At its core, "humanities in healthcare weaves together art and science, reminding us that healing happens not only through treatment, but through connection, compassion, and shared human experience," said Assistant Dean for Faculty and Student Success in the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences, Mike Boutin.
Boutin also explained that events like this are not just performances; they are expressions of that deeper work. Music gives voice to what can’t always be said in clinical spaces. It creates room for reflection, for joy, for grief, and for connection.
