More than 75 students connected with resources and community at the Fall Student Resource Fair on Wednesday afternoon behind the Shouse Building. It was a chance for students to easily explore campus support services, student organizations, and leadership opportunities.

“We sometimes hear from students that they aren't sure about the supports available to them,” said Luella Benn, assistant dean of student services. “The resource fair is a great opportunity to bring a variety of support services together in one place and makes it easy for students to explore them.”

According to Isabelle Francois, the fair accomplished its goal.

“I like how everything is displayed so thoroughly for us to interact and see what is up for us students, and that you guys are actually really here for us,” said the DEN student. “I'm really happy that I came.”

For the Office of Student Affairs and Services (OSAS), the event also builds visibility and connections. “These are important to us from our end as it gives us greater exposure to students, reinforcing our message of making them feel safe, welcome, and supported,” said Ronan Campbell, OSAS department coordinator.
