Since October, the 2025-2026 Health Equity and Leadership Fellows (HEAL) Fellows have been working with faculty and staff in their academic programs to develop engagement opportunities and address health equity issues within the curriculum. That includes holding Meet and Greets within their programs, a conversation with Dr. Sharl Azar on sickle cell disease and racism in healthcare, a celebration of Día de los Muertos, a clothing drive, and an alumni panel for Latinx Heritage Month.
