A Tuesday tea-time with the JEDI office in Shouse opened an opportunity for faculty, students and staff to meet, connect and learn more about each other and JEDI work at the IHP. During the open house, there were also discussions about Halloween plans and how the semester is going for the attendees so far while enjoying tea and snacks.
“A core part of JEDI work is relationships and community, it was nice to meet some new people and spend time with folks we already know,” said Callie Watkins Liu, director of JEDI Education and Programs.
The event was one of several that the JEDI office will be holding over the next few weeks:
October 7 Processing spaces related to Israel and Palestine
October 7 Hispanic Heritage Month
October 16 JEDI Reading Club
October 21 Meet & Greet for BIPOC Students – in person lunch
