Faculty and students participated at the recent American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) National Conference held in Houston, TX.

Program Director Joshua Merson presented a poster during Research Rounds titled, “Enhancing Primary Care Efficiency through Streamlined In-basket and Indirect Management: A Model Implementation and Evaluation.”

Instructor Jessica Spissinger held a sold-out workshop titled, ‘Unlocking Change: Mastering Motivational Interviewing’ 

Second-year student Nicholas Merritt presented a Case Study poster titled, “Desquamative Inflammatory Vaginitis (DIV) Case Study: Risk Factors to Remember.”

Students Michael Daras, Ifedayo Akinyemi and Monica Stoeger participated in the AAPA National Medical Challenge Bowl. Fellow students Brianna O’Neil, Emily Medina, Christine Vu, and Amy Cabrera were among those who cheered them on.
