Doctor of Physical Therapy students and faculty donned formal wear Friday night for their version of a prom night at Bell in Hand Tavern in Boston.
Nicknamed the "PT Prom," it is a fun, creative way to help the Marquette Challenge, which raises funds for physical therapy research.
Each year, the MGH Institute’s PT Club E-Board oversees the organization of the event, including creating this year's cohort superlatives. Students in both cohorts received personalized sashes for superlatives such as “Best Duo,” “Class Clown,” and “Most Likely to be Late to Graduation." Physical Therapy faculty were not left out; the event included superlatives and sashes for “PT Royalty” as well.
“My favorite part was seeing students in my cohort and professors outside of a class setting and being able to have fun while raising money towards a great cause,” said PT Club E-Board member and DPT student, Gabriela Sandoval.
