Dr. Keshrie Naidoo, PT, DPT, EdD, chair of the Department of Physical Therapy announced the appointment of Dr. Ben Adams, PT, DPT, PhD, as the new director of the MGH Institute’s credentialed Clinical Residency in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy. 

Dr. Adams completed his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Emory University and his PhD in rehabilitation science at the MGH Institute. He is a board certified orthopedic clinical specialist and a certified strength and conditioning specialist. His research focus is on the use of large healthcare networks and databases to identify targeted screening and intervention strategies to mitigate musculoskeletal injuries. 

Dr. Adams has served as residency faculty for four years and has helped the program maintain a 100% first-time pass rate on the Orthopaedic Certification Specialty examination.
