A new group of MGH Institute audiology students will be leading efforts to advance the field with the election of a new board for the Institute’s Student Academy of Audiology. President Jacqueline Foley '27 succeeds Marissa Gallan '26, Sarah Carreiro '27 follows Morgan Cassford '26 as vice president, Hannah Colan ’26 turns the treaurer reins over to Orli Richman '27, while Morgan Sanborn '27 replaces Sydney Zech ’26 as secretary.

The Student Academy of Audiology serves as a collective voice for students to advance their rights, interests, and welfare as they pursue their education in the audiology field. The MGH Institute’s branch seeks to promote information, education, representation, and advocacy for audiology and the associated services.

“The IHP's SAA Chapter exists to carry out this mission on a local level,” said Gallan, the outgoing president. ”Our board members play a crucial role in this.”
