Some members of The MGH Institute are about to get more fit, thanks to their joining the IHP’s Be Fit Team.
Be Fit is Massachusetts General Hospital's 10-week program to improve the health and well-being of employees, who will support each other as they make personal health goals ranging from adding more vegetables to meals to increasing steps. The IHP’s name plays on the Institute’s acronym: HIP IHP Hooray!
“The JEDI Office learned about this wellness program and wanted to support IHP employees in participating,” said Chief Equity Officer Kimberly Truong. “We played a role in coordination with the Be Fit team, recruiting participants, and internal coordination and communications with the IHP team.”
The IHP’s team consists of co-captain Mary O’Donnell and Rebecca Pham and general team members Jessica Andrade, Esther Ayuk, Pooja Jethani, Maninderjit Kaur, Rachel Pittmann, Tasneem Pota, Mary Rasner, Pat Reidy, Diane Smith, Latoya Trowers-Bell, Kimberly Truong, Michelle Wallace, Sally Wu, and Lisa Moran.
