The MGH Institute didn’t let heavy rain and fierce winds get in the way of the holiday spirit as approximately 125 faculty and staff gathered in 1 CW last night for the annual holiday party.
“Look at this place,” exclaimed president Paula Milone-Nuzzo in her welcoming remarks. “You guys are so hearty. I'm so impressed with how resilient you are and grateful that you braved the weather tonight and came.”
Passed hors d’oeuvres complemented a dinner buffet of grilled salmon and flank steak, dessert, and even a hot chocolate bar. The Joe Brogan Jazz Trio provided the musical background to many laughs and engaging conversation throughout the night.
The annual raffle on behalf of the Student Emergency Fund was held, raising $5,684, an increase of $1,463 from last year. Here’s who took home prizes:
Kim Mace LEGO Home Alone McCallisters’ House Building Set
Luella Benn YETI Hopper Soft Sided Cooler Backpack
Jennifer Durning Nespresso Vertuo Plus Coffee and Espresso Maker
Dianne Gould Apple Airpods

“I'm so grateful for your commitment to the IHP and all the wonderful work that you do every day for our students, for each other, for our organization,” noted Milone-Nuzzo. “I can't thank you enough. Happy holidays, everyone.”
