The DPT program held its annual poster presentations for capstone research projects on August 5. Sixteen groups had five minutes each to present their posters during one of three rounds of presentations, while students and mentors from other rounds listened and asked questions.

There were service-based projects, such as a DPT alumni mentorship program, working with a PT clinic in Guatemala, and developing exercise and fall prevention programs for residents of senior housing communities. Research-based projects included comparing telehealth and onsite exercise programs, looking at the effects of fatigue on people with multiple sclerosis, and using neuromodulation to help improve mobility function in people with stroke.
