Yesterday the Bellack Library staff held their second event as part of a study break series that doubled as a "crafternoon" and a celebration of National Cookie Day.
The library provided crafting supplies to help students take a break from their final exams and assignments. Students "let their brains focus on something entirely different from studying," said Director of the Library, Jessica Bell. "Students could create origami animals, beaded bracelets, macramé lanyards, and even take crochet kits away with them."
Oreo cookies were also in abundance for the library's annual celebration of National Cookie Day. Students sampled flavors like java chip, peanut butter pie, mint, and original recipe.
