Trish Zeytoonjian ’07, DNP, RN, is the Clinical Faculty Coordinator for the Interprofessional Dedicated Education Unit (IPDEU) experience at MGH and Instructor for both the ABSN and DEN programs. She also coordinates interprofessional efforts in the acute care setting with the ABSN students.

Beginning in the fall of 2011, the IPDEU is an innovative educational experience that allows students to participate, learn, and practice team-based medicine. This program allows students from Nursing, Physical Therapy and Communication Sciences & Disorders, Physician Assistant, Occupational Therapy and Harvard Medical School to participate together on acute care units at Massachusetts General Hospital. The students work together to foster interprofessional teamwork and communication and begin to understand the roles and responsibilities of members of the healthcare team while caring for patients and families.

Trish also works as a Nurse Director at Massachusetts General Hospital on an Orthopedic/Urology/Surgery unit.

Trish received her BA from Lafayette College in Spanish and her RN/MSN from the MGH Institute with a focus on the adult population and holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice at Northeastern University.
