Lesley Maxwell, MS, CCC-SLP, is Associate Chair and Associate Professor for the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at the Institute.
She is a specialist in pediatric speech-language pathology and clinical education with interests in the areas of interprofessional education, leadership development, early childhood disorders of communication, autism, school-age language learning disabilities, phonological disorders, and language and literacy instruction in regular education classrooms.
In addition to her administrative duties, Maxwell teaches courses on the topics of language disorders and intervention in pediatric communication disorders, and mentors students and faculty in the IMPACT Practice Center's Speech, Language and Literacy Center.
Ms. Maxwell is a consultant and professional development provider at the state and national levels in areas of clinical education, language and literacy, and communication disorders in children.
