As a librarian, Amanda provides a variety of information services including reference consultations, instruction with databases, citation help, and workshops on topics like mobile apps. She also creates online tutorials and research guides, and assists students and community members with using the Community Health Collection.
Amanda is active in the IHP community. She serves as a Staff Advisory Council Member starting in 2016.
Amanda earned her BS in Biology from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 2007, and her MSLIS from Simmons College in 2012. She joined the Institute's Office of the Library and Instructional Design as a library assistant in 2012, and was promoted to reference librarian in 2013. Prior to working at the Institute, Amanda interned at the Boston College O'Neill Library.
