Teresa “Tee” Stock has been an occupational therapist since 1998, specializing in school and home-based practice. She has been assisting at MGH IHP since 2017. She taught as an adjunct professor at Salem State and became an adjunct professor at MGH IHP in 2019, teaching Cognition, Perception, and Occupation. She has experience working with schools, families, and other service providers.

Dr. Stock has presented on handwriting, sensory integration, occupational therapy, school-based OT practice, and transition planning at several Massachusetts locations.  She has presented on transition planning at several conferences and community groups and is a co-author of an AOTA PowerPoint on the role of OTPs in Transition Planning. Dr. Stock has worked on client-centered occupational therapy and transition planning in public schools, a private special education school, and a local collaborative. She is certified in Astronaut Training, Therapeutic Listening, the CO-OP method, and Handwriting Without Tears and has extensive continuing education in the areas of autism, sensory processing, handwriting, social skills, and other topics. Dr. Stock conducted her doctoral research study on postsecondary transition planning and the roles that OTPs have in the process.

Research Interests

Dr. Stock is especially interested in Autism, Cognition, Pediatric OT, Transition Planning, and Entrepreneurship in OT. She is currently co-authoring an AOTA PowerPoint on the role of OTPs in Transition Planning and contributing author to Quintessential Occupational Therapy, a book on Occupational Therapy to be released in 2021 by Slack. She is a member of the Autism and Transition Planning AOTA Community of Practice groups and a founding member of the OT Potential Club. She is Secretary and Co-Chair of the Massachusetts OT Association Practice group for Pediatric and Transition Planning.
