This course demonstrates application and use cases from a wide breadth of expertise, including dentistry, medicine, nursing, occupational therapy, pharmacy, physical therapy, social work, and speech-language pathology.

Designed to be flexible for the busy healthcare professional, this course is 100% online and asynchronous. Learners have up to 6 months to complete this course upon registration.

In support of improving patient care, MGH Institute of Health Professions is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

Nursing

MGH Institute of Health Professions designates this activity for 12.0 contact hours for nurses. The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB) accepts credit from organizations accredited by the ACCME and ANCC.

Physician Associates / Assistants

MGH Institute of Health Professions has been authorized by the American Academy of PAs (AAPA) to award AAPA Category 1 CME credit for activities planned in accordance with AAPA CME Criteria.
