Suzanne Pennington, MS, CCC-SLP
Suzanne Pennington, MS, CCC-SLP, is an Instructor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at the MGH Institute of Health Professions. She primarily instructs and supervises students in the Aphasia Center, which is part of the Impact Practice Center on campus. In addition, she is the faculty coordinator for the concentration in Adult Neurogenic Communication Disorders and co-teaches CD 839: Aphasia Assessment and Intervention.
Her clinical experience includes work at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital Boston where she continues to practice as an Advanced Clinician. There she provides services for the inpatient adult population including those with aphasia, dysphagia, and traumatic brain injury. In collaboration with an inter-professional team of colleagues at Spaulding and MGH Institute of Health Professions, she participated in the creation of the intensive aphasia program, SiHPs CAP, which runs for six weeks every fall semester.
