NH-741-DL - Addiction: Foundations of Assessment and Diagnosis
Prerequisites: None. Pass/Fail option available. This course provides students with the background and skills for screening, assessment and diagnosis of addiction disorders. The course provides an overview of the physiology and neurobiology of addiction, the history and evolution of addictions, approaches to prevention, relevant policies and legislation and the culture of addiction.

NH-847-DL - Program Planning & Evaluation Global Health
Prerequisites: NH-842, NH-826 (can be waived by instructor).  Can also be taken simultaneously with or before NH-862 (Global Health Practicum.)Pass/Fail option available. Building on concepts that were covered in Introduction to Global Health, this course will introduce program planning for the global context. Assignments will focus on practical approaches for the identification, design, planning, monitoring, and evaluation of global health interventions from a health equity perspective.  Students will develop innovative solutions applicable to the local context.  Using an interprofessional, team based perspective, students will apply evidence based evaluation methods.

Nurse Educator Certificate of Completion

NE-715-DL - Education Program Design, Implementation, & Evaluation
This course builds on foundational courses (NE-712 and NE-713). Its focus is program level evaluation in the context of a broader system. It covers the major frameworks for program design and evaluation including alignment with broader goals of organizations and professions. Participants will examine organizational factors related to program effectiveness as well as accreditation and professional standards. Program evaluation and improvement strategies will be designed and critiqued as part of the final project.  Meets with HE-715.

NH-765-DL - NU Mentor Teaching Practicum
Prerequsites: NE-712 and NE-713.  Corequisite: NE-715. This course is a teaching practicum; participants will be paired with a practicum mentor. The participants will apply principles of teaching, learning, and assessment, as applicable to the unique learning environment selected. Reflections will be shared with online classmates. Required readings and activities will be chosen based on the specific area/s of the learner's interest.
