Senior Vice President for the Spaulding Rehabilitation Network

In this executive leadership role, Mr. McCall is responsible for several Network departments including: Case Management, Admissions, Referral Relations, Inpatient Rehabilitation, Pharmacy, Radiology, Laboratory, and Materials Management.  He oversees each of these department’s operations and strategic planning for Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital, Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital Cape Cod, Spaulding Hospital for Continuing Medical Care Cambridge, and Spaulding Nursing and Therapy Center Brighton. He also represents Spaulding’s interests in Mass General Brigham’s Global Advisory and Patient Destination programs.

Mr. McCall has been with The Spaulding Rehab Network for 17 years, and overall has over 25 years of experience in rehabilitation as a clinician and administrator.  He has extensive experience in network and program development, employee career advancement, and management mentoring.  Prior to joining Spaulding, he served in leadership roles for a broad spectrum of rehabilitation settings including academic medical centers, long term acute care, skilled nursing, and inpatient rehab settings.  He previously achieved a certification as a Specialist in Cardiopulmonary Physical Therapy in 2001.  

Mr. McCall holds a Bachelor of Exercise Science from the University of New Hampshire, and a Master of Physical Therapy from Simmons College.  He anticipates completion of his Master’s Degree in business administration in May 2022. He is a member of the American College of HealthCare Executives and the American Medical Rehabilitation Providers Association.  He currently has a faculty appointment at the Mass General Hospital Institute of Health Professions (IHP).  For the past 8 years, he has also participated in the American Corporate Partners’ mentoring program for veterans who are entering the civilian workforce.
