The Recruitment Database collects contact information for families interested in participating in research on speech, feeding, language, and literacy. By including your contact information and a brief developmental history about your child in this registry, you can be contacted by authorized researchers if your child is an appropriate fit for a research study. If you are contacted, you have no obligation to participate.

Who Can Join?

Infants and children of all ages may be registered including those who have delays in speech, language, literacy, or feeding.

If I Register, What Does It Mean?

Joining the Recruitment Database provides an easy way for your family to learn about studies in which your child may be qualified to participate. If your child is a good fit for a study, you will be contacted by phone or email so you can learn more. It is up to you to decide whether or not your child participates in a specific study. There is absolutely no obligation to participate.

Your Privacy Is Protected

All of your family’s information is protected. Only researchers from the participating labs at MGH Institute of Health Professions will be able to contact you. Your child’s data will be stored in a secure database that is compliant with HIPAA and the Partners Institutional Review Board regulations.
