Rachel Pittmann, MS-HPEd, MS-CCC-SLP, is the Director of the Charles A. & Ann Sanders Impact Practice Center (IPC). In this role, she provides leadership in implementing and evaluating innovations taking place within the IPC, and oversees its mission as an exemplary interprofessional learning environment wherein healthcare delivery and scholarship take place. Until 2021 she was the MGH IHP’s Coordinator of the Aphasia Center in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at MGH Institute of Health Professions.

Prior to this position, she was on the faculty at The George Washington University in Washington DC where she split her time teaching undergraduate and graduate classes as well as supervising graduate students in their in-house practicum experience. Before joining the academic world she worked as an outpatient speech-language pathologist focusing on the evaluation and treatment of adults with neurological communication disorders in multiple health care settings across the country.
