Research Interests: 

Dr. Plummer came to the IHP as a clinician and explored a few different avenues for scholarship. Her focus now is the scholarship of teaching and learning. She is currently enrolled in a Doctoral program to advance her development in this area of scholarship.

Laura Plummer, PT, DPT, MS, NCS, is Assistant Professor in Physical Therapy and Director of the IMPACT Practice Center at MGH Institute of Health Professions. She received the Institute's Nancy T. Watts Award for Excellence in Teaching [2] in 2017.

Dr. Plummer received her bachelor's of PT at the University of Vermont and her Doctor of Physical Therapy and Post-Professional Master's with Neurology Specialization at the MGH Institute of Health Professions.

She has extensive clinical experience, with a primary interest in treatment of patients with neurological disorders.
