As the Director of the Library and Instructional Design, Jessica Bell works through the Office of the Provost [2] to coordinate and expand services and resources that support teaching and learning at the Institute. 

Working with members of the Institute community throughout the school, Jessica sets priorities for new initiatives to lead the expansion and coordination of resources to enhance teaching and learning, and supervises both library services and instructional design.

Jessica joined the Institute in 2008 as the librarian, the person to consult when you have questions about finding information and using Treadwell Library's resources and services. Jessica continues as the librarian in her role as Director.

Jessica received her BA from Tufts University in 1994, an MS in Library Science from Simmons College in 2000 and enjoyed employment at several academic libraries before joining the Institute staff in 2008.
