Institutional Scholarships
Institutional scholarships are only available to students accepted into one of our entry-level degree granting programs.
Federal Loans
Please note that students must be enrolled at least halftime in order to be eligible to borrow Federal Loans. Halftime status for graduate students is 5 credits in the fall and spring and 3 credits in the summer.
Federal Direct Unsubsidized Loan
Federal loan not based on credit and awarded in compliance with federal regulation. Graduate students may borrow up to $20,500 for every two semester loan period, given that federal criteria are met. Additional information may be found on the Federal Student Aid website at www.studentloans.gov [1].
GradPLUS Loan
Federal Loan that does have credit requirements. Students apply independently through the Direct Loan Program and may borrow up to their cost of attendance, which will be indicated on a student’s financial aid award letter. Alternative Loans
These loans are private loans and are based on credit. Students apply independently with a lender and may borrow any amount of alternative loan up to the total cost of attendance.

Other Funding Sources
Vouchers
If you work for an organization that has received vouchers from the IHP, you are eligible to apply a maximum of 6 credits worth of vouchers to tuition. Read more on voucher redemption [3].
