Welcome to the Scholarship and Research Resources section of Faculty Compass.

In this section you will find resources, policies, and procedures for doing scholarship and research at the Institute. There is also a listing of current faculty research grants [1] at the Institute, a review of the MGH Institute's Scholarship Model [2], and instructions about how to apply for the annual grant competition for IHP faculty [3].

Efforts to expand research activity are ongoing and comprise an important part of the Institute’s vision and strategic plan. This section is designed to support these efforts and we welcome your feedback about how it can be further improved.

Annual grant competition for IHP Faculty

The IHP has an annual grant competition for faculty. This Faculty Research Fellowship Grant program [3] is designed to encourage faculty to develop a program of research in their areas of interest. The program supports faculty efforts to achieve external funding for their research program by providing a $10,000 research grant to conduct pilot studies that serve as preliminary data for subsequent efforts.
