The course of study emphasizes improving quality of life through comprehensive assessment and management of health and illness in the context of individuals, families, health care settings, and society.
The IHP Advantage
You will learn and collaborate with students and practitioners from across the health professions. Interprofessional team-based experiences will strengthen your ability to provide patient-centered care in an increasingly complex health care environment. Learn more about IMPACT Practice [2].

Boston is one of the best locations in the world in which to study a health profession. At the MGH Institute, you'll enjoy unparalleled access to clinical placements at the Massachusetts General Hospital Burn Center, Pine Street Inn (serving homeless adults) and other area facilities. And during your downtime, you can explore the city's charming neighborhoods, restaurants, shops, museums and more.

"Boston is the hub of medical care and provides numerous opportunities to have really interesting clinical rotations. I just finished a rotation in Thoracic Oncology at The Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and will be returning there for a second semester this Spring. I never thought I'd would have the opportunity to study at a place like the DFCI. It has been an absolutely amazing experience."
