Doctor of Nursing Practice: BSN to DNP
The BSN to DNP program can be completed in 8-10 semesters (four years), depending on your previous educational preparation and the specialty you choose. The first four semesters are taught on-campus and culminate in a Master of Science in Nursing and eligibility for national certification in an advanced practice specialty for nurse practitioners.
The last four semesters are taught online using a case study model, with some scheduled times you can be online together as well as two weekend intensive sessions at our Boston campus each semester. This schedule will give you the flexibility to study on your own time and work concurrently as a nurse practitioner.
"What I treasure most about the IHP's DNP program are the relationships I’ve developed within my cohort and learning alongside dedicated, experienced, innovative nurses from a wide range of practice settings."
Cynthia Holle, DNP '16, MBA, RN
