MGH Institute's IMPACT Practice Center is the new home for the Nursing Center for Clinical Education and Wellness, a nurse-led screening, referral, education, and support resource for Charlestown and Greater Boston-area residents


Free support services are provided by MGH Institute students, under the supervision of licensed faculty. Services are provided in the following areas:

  • Respiratory issues

Achieving better health and well-being

  • Weight management
  • Nutrition
  • Stress
  • Grieving
  • Sleep
  • Aging well
  • Wellness assessments
  • 1-on-1 supportive mental health counseling

The Nursing Center provides a wide variety of ongoing services, augmenting your current care. Choose the services that best suit your needs. Care is provided in a supportive, nurturing environment in a state-of-the-art facility.

The Dr. Charles and Ann Sanders IMPACT Practice Center brings together students from across the Institute's health professions programs to learn and practice in teams and to deliver essential free care to the community. At this 15,000-square-foot facility, the Institute provides more than 10,000 hours of free health services. The Center is located at Two Constitution Wharf (2CW), Charlestown, MA, on the MGH Institute's Navy Yard campus. The Center is next to Old Ironsides, behind Bright Horizons. Free parking is available.
