The Institute uses the Turning Technologies clicker system, which includes the TurningPoint Anywhere software. While presenting, faculty pose questions or present case study problems, and students use a remote control device to wirelessly respond. TurningPoint Anywhere can be used in conjunction with any combination of presenter tools (PowerPoint, Keynote, SMART Notebook etc.).
Camtasia Studio is a software application that allows for “screen capture”, recording of PowerPoint presentations with accompanying voiceovers. Camtasia can be a useful tool for creating short video lectures or tutorials that can then be presented via D2L. Camtasia is available for faculty use in the Learning Nook computers on the 4th floor.

NetAnatomy is designed to teach human anatomy to students of the health professions, including undergraduate medical and health sciences students. NetAnatomy also serves as a place to review anatomy after one’s initial exposure to the subject, e.g. students beginning a clinical rotation, USMLE (National Board) preparation, etc. Its use in the early years of various residency programs has also been established.
Access to NetAnatomy is available to anyone but only when on the Partners Network.

Every classroom across campus is equipped with either a full size SMART Board or a SMART Podium computer monitor installed. With either product, faculty can interact with digital content and annotate over presentations using the interactive pen.
SMART Notebook is an interactive presentation software. Lectures can be built before class within SMART Notebook and annotated over during class. For class rooms with white board space, SMART Notebook is a create way to provide a digital white board space by using blank slides to project your real-time lecture notes.
