These services are distributed in several areas of the Institute.

Supports equal access to the Institute's programs and services for students who experience a disability.

Manages student recruitment, application, and admission activities.

Office of Alumni Relations

Maintains the official alumni database and can provide contact information for former students. This office also handles alumni outreach, events, services, and means for alumni to maintain contact with the Institute. Contact:

Campus Services

Oversees buildings, cleaning and maintenance, phone/voicemail, furniture, and emergency procedures. Requests should be submitted through the HelpDesk.


Career Development



Provides students and alumni assistance with career advising, job search strategies, resume critique, practice interviewing, and employer recruiting.


Office of Strategic Communications

Plans, designs, and executes communications, public relations, and branding for MGH Institute of Health Professions. This includes the website, social media, IHP Daily News, iTV, banners, printed materials, logos and templates, and photography.

(Campus Services)

Information about discounted parking and MBTA passes, shuttle services, parking, and other modes for traveling to the Institute.



  • Corporate and Foundations Relations - Identifies and secures philanthropic support from corporate and foundation sources in support of the Institute's fundraising priorities.

  • Fundraising - Manages all charitable gifts including the Annual Fund.


Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

A workplace-based consultation, short-term counseling, information and referral program for employees and their families, as well as students of the MGH Institute (see Student Assistance Program below), who may be experiencing difficulties that affect their personal lives or work performance. This is through Massachusetts General Hospital.

Oversees admission, financial aid, student accounts, and the registrar’s office.

Oversees all of the Institute’s financial dealings.

Manages personnel policies and services, including recruitment, retention, compensation, performance management, and professional development.


IMPACT Practice Center

The MGH Institute’s Dr. Charles and Ann Sanders IMPACT Practice Center brings together students  from across the health professions to learn and practice in teams and to deliver essential free care to the community. 

The new center builds upon and enhances the community services currently provided by the Institute and houses these services in one integrated center, including:

Supports faculty on a range of course-design issues, including developing a new course and improving a current course.

International Student Services


Provides the tools and support necessary to foster growth and success for the Institute’s international students. 


Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion

The JEDI office works on programming to foster an inclusive and welcoming environment enhanced by persons who differ in gender, race, ethnicity, national origin, age, socio-economic background, ability, sexual orientation, and gender identity or expression, and religious belief at the IHP.

Oversees and supports all academic programs, faculty, research, and clinical affiliations.

Provides up-to-date course information and maintains all student records. This office also responsible for Course-Related Teaching Space assignments, Commencement, filing theses, and degree verification.

Simulated Participant Program

Trains and assigns simulated participants (SP) for education sessions for all health care programs at the MGH Institute.

Student Affairs and Services, Office of (OSAS)

Oversees Accessibility Resources, international student services, and career services.

Manages student life services, including supporting equal access to its programs and services for students who experience a disability.

Student Assistance Program (SAP)

Students of the MGH Institute who may be experiencing difficulties that affect their personal lives or program performance are encouraged to use the Mass General Brigham Student/Employee Assistance Program (SAP/EAP) for consultations, short-term counseling, information, and referral. SAP includes on-campus counseling.

Veterans Services

The Registrar's Office assists eligible student veterans, reservists and dependents in obtaining educational benefits in compliance with the procedures and regulations of the United States Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
