Meredith Starr

Meredith Beaton Starr, MS, OTR/L is an Occupational Therapist and  Integrative Health Coach at the Osher Center for Integrative Medicine, a collaboration between Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School.

An expert in integrative therapies, pain management, stress management, and helping clients to optimize their ability to function in home and workplace settings to achieve optimal health, Starr is conducting research in integrative medicine interventions with women who experience migraine headaches.

She also works as the Director of Engagement and Liaison to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute at the Pan-Massachusetts Challenge. At Dana-Farber, she is a member of the Leonard P. Zakim Center for Integrative Therapies Advisory Board, serves on the Institute Initiatives and Women’s Cancers Visiting Committees, and is co-chair of the Susan F. Smith Center for Women’s Cancers Executive Council.

Starr is a guest lecturer in Occupational Therapy at Tufts University, Boston University, and Regis College. She has been a practicing occupational therapist for the past 34 years in a variety of settings including New England Rehabilitation Hospital, the Boston Pain Center, the Boston Arts Medical Center, and Beth Israel Hospital.  She has completed a clinical fellowship in mind-body medicine and is trained in meditation, yoga, and dance therapy.

Starr received both a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science (Magna Cum Laude) in Occupational Therapy from Tufts University.
