Meetu Kaushik, PhD
Dr. Kaushik has a PhD in Cell and Molecular Biology. After her PhD she joined National Institute for Health and Medical Research (INSERM)in Paris as a Postdoctoral fellow. Her research involved the study of transferrin receptor in erythropoiesis and IgA Nephropathy, a kidney disease. As a Research Scientist at Yale University her research projects are focused on triplex induced DNA damage resulting in apoptosis, the mechanism involved and their therapeutic approach in cancer cells.
She served as an editor in peer-reviewed journals and as judge national conferences for undergraduate research. She has taught and mentored undergraduate and graduate students as a biochemistry and cell and molecular biology professor.
