Dr. Mace joined the IHP faculty and leadership team in November 2021. She serves as the Director of the Prerequisite Program and an assistant professor in the Department of Health Professions Education.

Dr. Mace is an athletic trainer, spending the first 10 years of her career in clinical practice. She joined the athletic training faculty at Boston University in 2014 where she developed a passion for training future healthcare professionals. Her research interests are in competency-based education and assessment practices.
